they especially screw it up for lübeck.

lübeck and kiel are both the county / provence schleswig holstein (SH), but kiel is the capital for it. it has more political reasonst to give anything to kiel but making therefor less sense for SH.

[flying into kiel is bad if that was the question (i do not even know who flies there); you can get from HAM with kilius to kiel or through jasper to hamburg train station and then to kiel; there is a bus / train connection as well from lübeck. ham is probably preferable, as lübeck has only whizzair and ryanair for regular fligths]
