For downtown hotels, especially on weekends, Priceline can not be beat, usually you can get the Hyatt, Westin, or Phillips for $50/night or less, just look at BiddingforTravel, I can see right near the top someone got a room for the first weekend in April (including First Friday) for $50/night.
