That is what I am saying *could* happen - you - as a BA Gold (and therefore OWE) - are entitled to access the lounge, and can take ONE guest in with you. You are not entitled to take more guests than that.

One way around that is to book a meeting rrom. SYD T3 Business Centre staff confirmed to me just this afternoon that you can, as a OW Emerald, book a meeting room and get one guest in for free. You will need to pay $A25 for each extra guest.

This will only apply inthose Australian DOMESTIC lounges which have business facilities, so it is one avenue to explore.

I personally would be looking at obtaining QC membership for one of the travelling parties, that way you will ALL get into ALL of the lounges ALL of the time.
