Received a call today from a HGVC rep offering a deal for 4 days, 3 nights in Orlando or Vegas for $199. Involves the expected sales presentation when you're down there. I'm just wondering if anyone else has received a call like this or taken advantage of one of these deals. I've been to timeshare presentations before and I know for a fact ahead of time I'm not signing up for anything. How hard do they push it? I don't mind spending a couple hours for a cheap mini-vacation but I don't want to have to get into an argument with someone and put myself in a bad mood while I'm supposed to be enjoying myself.
Anyone have experience with these "deals"?
We've done the "Deal" in Orlando... typical sales push.. but I went in and told the sales weenie that I was in No way going to buy a time share, and we could save each other some time and aggravation by getting through this as fast as we could so he can get to his next victim (er.. prospect).
He understood, and we were done in 45 minutes.
