As a rule, the broken equipemnt is parked at the gates. I seldom see the trains out of service, and rarely the slidewalks either.

On occasion, I have created trips with long layovers in ATL, 3 1/2 hours maybe. Sometimes that's because I want to save $$$ for my employer and that's what the cheapest ticket involved. Sometimes I do it to avoid RJ's.

I like to walk for exercise, and the concourses are too crowded with gawkers and gate lice, so I head downstairs. On one occasion, I broke it up by visiting every CRC in the building, including the PC in D.
