The QF status credits are identical on all Oneworld flights, so you will get exactly the same increase in status flying CX as flying QF; the difference is in the status miles (not credits) ... as previously mentioned, the status miles are only for QF and AA flights. You earn fewer miles flying CX than QF (possibly offset by a longer routing through HKG). The only OW airline that is generous with status miles is AA (all OW flights earn status miles, so being in the AA plan earns substantially more miles than in the QF plan). The class of service bonus (50% F, 25% C) is the same for all OW airlines.
