Yeah, I squeaked by before the increased fees went into effect. IIRC, it happened around Feb. 1. For bookings confirmed and paid for prior to that date, some airlines ate the increase on behalf of their customers, others forced the customers to pay up or not fly.
A dummy booking on the US site shows it as:
"Tax: United Kingdom Air Passengers Duty $159.17"
