It's been a few years but I stayed at this property a few times. I don't remember much difference between the rooms themselves in the two towers; however, it is a very long way from the Muehlebach tower to the CL in the main tower. You have to go down to the lobby of Muehlebach tower walk across to the main lobby and up the main tower elevators to the CL. The property does have a historic feel; however, the rooms are somewhat tired. Rooms have the newer bedding but old furniture and carpeting. Lily's, the full service restaurant is okay but nothing special. Bottom line, it is an okay Marriott usually available at a decent price. That said, if I have another project in KC, I will probably try the Country Club Plaza Marriott or the Airport Marriott next time depending on the project location.
