Agree with Al B and Latitudes, I was there on 4 Jan waiting for QF2 BKK-SYD with girlfriend (who became fiancee the next morning) - the vertical glass slats are optically excellent, but I almost fell into them. Imagine if somebody of size did that and impaled themselves.

Position - I don't know, I think on the other side of the hand luggage x-ray scanner would have been better, but if that was the only space offered to QF, then well worth taking.

No difference between the two sides (as Plat QFF, I thought it wise to tour both and check out the differences - more food on J side). I'd say though most disconcerting that the toilets are of that opaque glass - I could see the outline of the person in the cubicle next door...not very pleasing (nor were his farts...)
