Regardless of how great the VS PE seat is, I would still prefer to avoid the overnight. Instead of a crap nights sleep followed by largely wrecked day in DEL you get to have a decent day of working/reading followed by a lamb biryani supper and a decent nights sleep in a proper bed. Of course, that pre-supposes that you don't sleep that well upright and have the day to spare.
