In addition, I have contacted the Travel Industry Sales Rep. on behalf of clients. Although they have never offered a discount, I have been offered a two category upgrade at time of booking for weekend bookings.

Obviously, you'll never get this for mid-week bookings, but I think space available upgrades would probably be offered.
