I seem to have a choice of:

- BA WT+ for £ 930
Pros: First lounge access, 150 TPs, 12k BA miles, day flights both ways
Cons: £ 200 extra fare cost

- VS PE for £ 730
Pros: LHR Clubhouse access with BD Gold card, 12k bmi (non-status) miles, £200 cheaper!
Cons: 1 overnight flight in PE, no status miles/TPs

- ex LON cheapest Business fare is about £1600 on LH. (BA is over £3000.)

I cannot seem to find an ex EU fare cheaper than about £1600 on BA for DEL at all, or even any (cheaper than LON) WT+ ex EU fare!! (MFU not available for my dates either way.)

So, how does VS PE compare with WT+. Particularly as regards seat comfort, food and IFE. I'm not too familiar with the inflight products, and unsure as to which one to choose.

Also, VS seem to be operating the A346 to DEL. Will this have their "new" PE?

Any alternative routing suggestions welcome too!
Definately go for VS. Whilst I have not travelled WTP, I have travelled PE and it was excellent. The new PE microsite should show you some things to do with the flight: www.alotmorespace.com. There is a possibilty you could have the new seats, although they aren't fittied on all the A346 fleet AFAIK. Have a look on V-Flyer.

The catering is served on proper china, with choices of main meals from a menu and there is a new amenity kit with pen etc. Have a look on www.virginatlantic.com. The LHR Clubhouse is meant to be the best in the world so I wouldn't worry about the FIRST Lounge.

Also, VS have separate PE checkin, whereas BA's is shared with WT AFAIK.

Kind Regards,
