Thanks for the replies. Dave, spot on. I do talk to real people but AA flights are the problem. Information on Qantas and Lan Chile flights is easily obtained but everytime I attempt to make a change to an AA flight I am informed the "system goes down". My wife rang up the other day and was informed that AA was making changes to their flights in that fewer planes would be flying but they were replaced with larger ones. Something to do with security in the event of war. Then yesterday I hear that Qantas may be retrenching up 2500 people in the event of war. Not sure what or who to believe but at the end of the day I do have confirmed flights even though not all are as I want them. Thanks to all.
