I've been a Preferred Member for over 10 years (skip the queue) and President's Club member for about 3 years.
However, on my last two rentals (MCO), the car/contract has not even been prepared when we arrive at the Preferred kiosk in the parking garage. I've given my name and they look at all the contracts that are ready, ask me to repeat my name, and then take forever keying it into the computer to locate my contract and then assign a car while I wait.
My reservations have always had Flight No. and time noted on them.
Any idea why I would suddenly be falling out of the system for having the car ready upon arrival?
I have also tried phoning the day ahead to make a specific request, but despite calling the MCO phone number as listed on Avis website (it is a 407 area code so I know I'm calling Orlando), I seem to be transferred to a call center who get a little snippy about being asked to put notes on the reservation.
How would I go about really getting a hold of the manager at MCO? We always arrive after 7 pm (from an overseas flight) so I don't think we've seen the manager and there are always different people taking care of us, so we haven't managed to build a relationship with anyone.
