Seriously - AA leaves ads on trays for Bose headsets, and had Amex napkins for a while. Who cared? Almost nobody.
If the pies were the *only* problem, you'd be right.
The problem is that "little things" can annoy disproportionately when they underscore major problems. In the pie case, the issue isn't the pies, it's the introduction of yet more advertising.
But of course, I'll be accused of "unfairly bashing US" again because of it. Apparently some people *like* the ads. Who knew?
