Well, unfortunately that's the ugly side of capitalism, some say.
Frankly, as a business, BA don't care about you or me. BA just care about how to make more money. The shareholders' representatives put their trust in WW to do this more or less in whichever way he sees fit.
Re: the BA board, I agree with
Dave_C and others. The more cheesed off we are with BA, the more it will be reflected in the sentiments.

Although it must be said that not everyone in the FT community likes threads full of inside jokes and innuendo, which is what I feel the BA board has become mucked up in over the past year or two. And before someone rolls out the "but British society is like that" argument, not
all of British society is like that, and some of us prefer it a little on the welcoming and tasteful side.
Just my thoughts.
