Great story! There are a couple of exceptional UA Captains out there. And you will never find Captains like these on any other airlines.

A couple of weeks ago the Captain on my ORD-LGA flight started with coming up to the gate and make an announcement that they were soon ready to board. In the F cabin on a 757, he was waiting to take everyone's coat. After everyone was settled in, he stood in front of the F cabin and informed everyone in F about the flight without using the PA system. After the meal, the FA handed out a business card from the Captain with a personal message on the back of the card. At arrival at LGA, they were using the front 1L door and the Captain was of course standing by the door thanking all of us for flying United.

A great flight I will never forget..
