Delta has retired their 737-200s, 737-300s, and 767-200s. The mainline fleet is being stretched thin. I would like to see additional MD-90s instead of more RJs.
Yes, DL has been retired from older aircraft 732, 733, 762. I did flown on my last ride with 732 in 2005 before DL has been retired them. I have been flown from TPA-CVG on 737-200. It was nice smooth flight to CVG then PHX. I remember when I was flew on 762 in early 2005 before DL is being retired with 762. It was all gone forever. DL was selling all 762 to Airborne Express to became freighter.
