The real scoop. If you fly, think coach unless overseas, then business. She will not need to share rooms, but they will be in inexpensive hotels (think Quality Inn, Holiday Inn - no need to stoop to rock bottom). She'll get mileage for driving, but only 31.5 cents per mile.

On the bright side, there are thousands of hotels available in the US at good rates for personal travel.

I still work (very) part-time for the company (a few days a month because they pay me too much to give up entirely), the outstanding rates at a local Hampton enabled me to reach HH Diamond last year.

In summary, she won't travel in the lap of luxury, but it won't be that bad.
