Yes- UA 890 is normally n/s NRT-LAX
Usually the first HNL-LAX flight does not leave until 7am and it is not a 747-400. I agree with other posters-sounds like a techinical issue. If the crew was going to become illlegal due to lack of rest en-route does the flight have to plan to divert before taking off from NRT? UA #890 is listed as a n/s from NRT-LAX.
