I always eye the line at the "T" gates before I go to the regular center elite entrance. Going through the elite entrance adds about a five minute hike through the corridors, and their are one heck of a lot of Delta elites floating around.

Of course in your case, I might not go and look at the "T" line, due to the considerable hike from the United check-in, and you will be dragging others around.
