My itinerary still reads "Plane change in HNL". There are only 35 minutes between the two flights to deal with customs and immigration. Would this be possible with a combined 250 pounds of luggage? The only way possible is if UA doesn't make us get off the plane and just changes staff but I believe passengers must clear immigration at the first port of entry.
