NM Thanks for your kind words..I am a restrained sort of guy.
" The 00xxxxx FF numbers are a bit of an anomaly. If you joined in early 90's and have a 001 number, it is a fair bet you joined the Australian Airlines FF program or were even a Flight Deck member prior to the FF program commencing. "

Now your comments made me llok up some old files. I originally joined in 1988 with a number 15,000+. And the program was called Flight Deck..are the unused guest passes I still have valid?

And then in 11/92 also acquired the current number 10XXX. Then about December 92 it seemed to acquire the 2 extra zero's at the front that you mentioned, then both memberships were merged.

My reference to 4.1 million plus was for my son's membership which began in Dec 2002.

Thanks kindly NM, you prompted a little walk down memory lane on my QF FF history.
I note your AA/TN comment.

Now do you know if I can still use:
a) undated unused Flight Deck guest passes ?
b) undated unused blue/white Qantas Club passes ?
c) I also have June 2003 expiry cards ( I can work that one out). Do you know when they started dating them?

And finally to get back on the topic of "improving status" , I thought I'd pass on a run I am doing Mon to Thurs next week.

You might recall the Qantas sale on Dec 29th/30th from memory. I managed to grab some web tickets, as I sure hundreds of lurkers also have done.

6 legs Mon to reach Gold, booked MEL Formule 1 3 nights times $59 then 4 sectors Tue, 4 sectors Wed, 2 Thurs back to SYD.

Sorry to bring it back on topic, but want to stay on side with the moderator.
