Jimmy Carter about 3 mos ago. BHM-ATL. Sat right behind him. He was in 1D window of an MD-80. Secret Service with him let me speak with him, but would not let me get my picture with him.

Bo Diddley about two years ago. ORD-ATL. Sat next to him in 4A and 4B on 763. He did not smell good. Said he was a musician and had come straight to the airport for the early am flight from a club. I knew who he was but left him alone figuring he was tired and didn't need some pasty white dude (who is a huge blues fan) chatting him up about it. When we landed in ATL I called my wife and excitedly said, "You won't believe I'm sitting next to Bo Diddley on the plane." When I got off the phone and looked at me incredulously, "You know who I am?" We talked throughout the taxi to the gate....he couldn't believe I was a fan and had let him alone.

Kevin Federline. Last week in the CRC (The one near ATL B24). What was most interesting about this was that when I was checking in to the CRC I noticed the lady working the door had an FC boarding pass next to her mousepad. I just happened to make out the name on the pass. In the elevator I was chuckling and my wife asked what was up. I told her and sure enough we bump into him getting off the elevator. She goes, "And here he is." I swear I don't think we would have made any note of him had I not seen the pass.

This K-Fed sighting has me thinking though....why did the agent have his FC boarding pass? My theory is that sometimes celebrities (even as marginal as Federline) get comp upgrades just because. Obviously this kind of ticks me off.
