In order to get AA miles you MUST be on OneWorld Metal. KA is not OneWorld yet. If you are on non CX metal with a CX flight number you can get ASIA miles. Same with a KA flight number, you can get ASIA miles.

Also- If you have two flights (ie a CX codeshare or KA and a CX metal flight) some travel agents can not put in two FF# in the same PNR. When u check in at KA you have to give them both FF cards and ask them to put them in as differnt FF#. Some check-in people do not know how to do that. Be sure it prints on the boarding pass. The lower part right of teh boarding pass just has a FF#. The upper part right says the Airline to be credited (CX or AA).
