that's the same like with Z1 - Z2 to KHV and UUS ( both vey east in Russia ) and only reachable by *aliance via BKK and ICN or Japan. But upt to now I know nobody who redeemed such an award sucsessfully.
Much more interesting is, what DC understands as the most direct routing ?
There should be a general roule, IATA related ; like as long it is in the MPM it's OK ( and may be, if it is up to +25 % from the MPM they take a surcharge ) same as with an YY fare.
