The fuss was that it took 50K SPG points to get 125K QF miles (while it takes 100K to get 125K BA or AA miles). Starwood has corrected that as of Jan 1, 03. QF points used to be in kilometres and became miles, thus the QF point value is in flux and the higher redemption levels as they were also earned faster. Now they are earned slower but the levels are still high.
