Miami Beach and The Willard in DC are supposed to be among the best ICs in the US. I would expect Atlanta to be good given this is their US HQ. Suggest you do a search on the "RA treatment" sticky thread and then by city you intend to visit. That will pretty much give you enough reviews to judge by.

While the T&Cs are not fixed in cement...we're not supposed to get elite benefits on award stays, but we generally do both Plat and RA...there is a specific reference to the effect that hotels are not required to upgrade you to a Specialty Suite. However, evidence suggests to the contrary depending upon availability and cooperativeness of the given property.
