Is INS really that grim at LAX? I've gone through LAX at least 6 times in 2002 and longest wait was 20 minutes, shortest was under a minute (average under 5 minutes).... maybe I am just lucky, but it is JFK and to a lesser extent BOS/ORD that have the long delays. I can complain about a lot of things at LAX, but slow INS service is not one of them.
