Well, as the song goes 'One night in Bangkok....'

This happended to a colleague a couple of years ago. They were put up in the Royal Orchid Sheraton, thrown some money for food and then flew home 24 hours later once the plane was fixed.

Depending on how shiny you are, and what type of ticket you have you could:

* Asked to be endorsed to QF or TG, or failing that a connection on CX or SQ
* Ask to be put onto the QF flight (though it is prob too late for that)
* Enjoy 24 free hours in a great city
