I don't think you'll have any problems. While I haven't done the route you mention from LPQ, I have flown PG from PNH to BKK, where I connected to onward flights on TG and other airlines. Interlining was never a problem, and I always stayed airside.

I haven't done this since the move to Suvarnabhumi, but I see no reason why it would be a different set-up than the one at the old DMK.
