I might point out that the "incident" this thread is about happened in AMS over 6 months ago. If I had read it a several weeks earlier than today, I would have tried to bring an empty bottle thru AMS onto NW to BOS, but alas I have no plans to fly thru AMS in the near future. My waitlist for CO BOS-EWR-MXP in BusinessFirst for my next trip just came thru and the timing works out much better for me. (Leave 4 hours earlier; arrive 4 hours earlier.)
I understand where the incident happened. I made my post to point out that the <=3oz liquids in 1qt/liter bags is not true throughout the NW network. As CO also flies to MNL, the same could be said about CO.
