Most of us know that you have an extra 4 or 5 minutes AFTER the Qantas Club announcement is made before you have to start moving. And since we have a sensible carry-on policy, there is no need to get on first in order to stow everything INCLUDING the kitchen sink - I have never found a situation where there is no room to stow anything.
