All airlines have language in their contract of carriage that most electronics, cash, jewelry and other valuables won't be reimbursed if stolen from checked luggage.
It's often difficult to determine if it was TSA or airline baggage handlers that took items. I'd recommend writing to JetBlue customer relations, and see if they throw you a bone. You can also read other messages on FT to see how people have handled similar problems
