I would too, every frequent travelers know it happens and everyone knows that theres nothing that could be done (within a reasonable cost). This is not a jetBlue only issue, it is an industry wide issue. It could be someone at jetBlue, it could be someone at TSA, hell, it may even be someone from another airline or work for the airport that happened to just wonder over and grab something out of the bags. It may of happened in Orlando, it may of happened in Dulles... no one knows. Sure you can hire more people to watch over the people that handles the bags but thats too expensive. Sure you can add more cameras, but more cameras means more footages to go through and time is money. Theres a bunch of other ways that could be done but no one is willing to pay for it. Part of this could be blamed on us, the travelers our self. Most of us expect the lowest possible fare, some may pay a premium to fly their perfered carrier... but in the end... everytime theres a fare increase or a new fee, everyone gets angry. We expect to pay fares lower than those offered by Amtrak and Greyhound for a similar route and yet at the same time expect faster and greater level of service and more dependabilty from the airlines. In the end it is just you get what you paid for. Granted that jetBlue does does a better job offering you more with a better product than that offered by other airlines.

Also, I'm gonna say the same thing that most of the other poster have stated and what most freqent flyers already know... do not pack expensive stuff that could be carry on in check luggage... not only it might get stolen, it is actually more likely to be broken.
