So CO should now build a variety of seat sizes to accomodate people of different sizes? that's going to work really well. I'd love to be able to buy 4 inches of shoulder space and, oh, 5 more inches of legroom, a massage function for my aching muscles. How is CO supposed to manage that in its inventory control? Do they send a team to adjust all the seats before each flight?

its not so ridiculous for any company to go out of its way to try and satisfy the special needs of any community if it can in order to secure its biz. I recently purchased a new Accord, its a great car but being 6'2" its LOUSY seats as I need a longer seat that doesnt cut off mid-thigh. But a Japanese car is still made with a Japanese person in mind. Thats why it was hard orginally for Honda and the others to make any in roads over here. Its not only Honda most US cars that come with a sun-roof are off limits to me or anyone of above avg height. Yet the same isnt true for Accura the seats are longer, as those cars are made especially for the US mkt, yet with the sun-roof I still fit into them. No I dont think Honda discriminates against tall people on purpose, but Im sure if they thought that if they made changes to their cars so that tall people could fit in as a driver or passenger comfortably and that will allow them to vastly increase their Sales, they would do it.
If CO felt they could drop all meals and still maintain their passengers , Im sure they would do so in a moment. If CO felt supplying Kosher meals would increase their bottom line drastically Im sure they would do it, that is as long as they wouldnt receive Heck from the other special meal groups.
why does CO offer Glatt out of Israel cause w/o doing so they know they will lose out on a ton of people, BTW the KSML out of the US are all Glatt. Why does CO not offer meat on its DEL flights cause it wants to still serve the route and if it does otherwise Hindus wont fly with CO.
Just as Vegas goes out of its way to satisfy the needs of its WHALES so too will any Biz, if its important enough. Go to Vegas and play the $5 tables and at $5 a hand or 5 cent slots for 5 cents each time, you can play for 48 hrs and still you wont get any comps. Co did its homework and decided when it needs to offer special meals and when it can get away w/o having to. Just as it figured out what it can call meal time and what they can get away with serving and still call it a meal.
etc etc, No I dont expect CO to start offering ANY special meal on non-trans cons. Just as I wont hold my breathe waiting for CO to do as JB did and have a Coach pitch of 34" to 36". If a person definitely wants or needs that room in coach then JB is the place for them
