Take personal responsibility for you own well being and plan ahead or be flexible to circumstances (storms, mechanical delays); most of the "strict" kosher folks often pack enough food in their carry-on luggage to feed everyone on the plane; why, because they know to be prepared.
I agree with You that it would be impossible for CO or any other Carrier to meet the food needs of every single passenger. However, its not ridiculous to expect if a Carrier is gonna offer food that it doesnt meet the food needs of those people who represent a certain % of their flyers. does kosher fall into this I would have thought so, maybe it doesnt but if CO gets alot of Muslim or Hindu flyers I would expect that they would want to cater to their needs.

why doesnt CO simply stop offering food altogether after all most of the posts on here, bash them for what ever it is that they serve. Let Everyone take personal responsibility for themselves as you put it. Thats why most Carriers did away with Meals at any time.

It wasnt so long ago that CO was able to offer almost everyone who had a special need when it came to meals , the type of meal that they needed to have, as did most of the other carriers as well. But as we now see they had to cut costs otherwise the execs wouldnt be able to get the tremendous bonuses they are getting today. If these guys really cared they wouldnt be taking those bonuses, but thats another subject, besides the $$ for that is mainly off the backs of the rack & file more so then the cutting back of meals.
