Any frequent traveler knows that you don't check digital cameras in their luggage. Something just doesn't add up for me here, I'm sorry. I could be wrong, there very well could have been a jetBlue employee searching for digital cameras in people's checked luggage while a flight was delayed but I sort of doubt it.

Air Traffic Control delays in New York and Washington were dreadful earlier in the week. Did you look at the monitors for any other carriers and see how much better they were doing? Why did you fly via JFK when there is an abundance of nonstop flight options between IAD and MCO?

It is such a shame that people join FlyerTalk with seemingly no purpose other than to bash jetBlue, it really is disheartening. Such a good airline with such good people and yet there are still people lined up to slap them in the face.
In ccdr14's defence, passengers even frequent fliers make mistakes when it comes to packing valuables. My wife flies frequently, either for business or pleasure, and I know that she should have known not to put a digital camera in her checked baggage. I wish the TSA management or the airlines could develop and implement sting operations using small tracking devices planted in valuable electrical equipment deliberately left in checked baggage. As for the JetBlue bashing I just shake my head, bite my lip and read on. When I go to fly for JB I see the dedication of our crewmembers and as passengers leave the aircraft I witness at first hand their enthusiasm for our airline. I think that a lot of the delays at major international airports are ATC driven but passengers put the blame on the airlines who have very little control over ATC decisions. I do agree that there are a small minority of contributors to these forums who show definite resentment to JetBlue. I believe that JetBlue is a good airline and as we continue to grow we are learning from our mistakes and actively addressing the shortcomings in our infrastructure. Look for some new city announcements soon.
