OK, we really need a BA lurker to help us out here, but I believe I'm right in saying this is because the BAA site takes a feed directly from the BA Flight Information Systems (FICO / FIGARO).
That said, that's also used on the A&D section of ba.com so I'm not sure why there'd necessarily be a disparity?..
