I know that AA planes themselves are not allowed to land in TLV, but I don't see why they can't put their flight numbers on another airline's metal. Why were they allowed to do this with Swiss? Is it something about Israeli ownership/employees that would prevent them doing it with El Al? It sounds like a spurious excuse to me.
