I am not going this summer, but next summer - June 23-July 8th. We'll be mostly in the highlands, going Edinburgh-Inverness-Stornoway-Portree-Mull-Glasgow.

Does anyone know of festivals, highland games, carnivals, etc. that might be interesting to attend while we are there? Anything historical or traditional is of especial interest, as we are historiphiles
