Well, just as I arrived at the SYD lounge at 5:30pm tonight, there were two young ladies packing up some empty bottles of Glenfiddich. Seems I had just missed out . Then, just as my flight was called, they were returning to the lounge, presumably to start serving again . Talk about upsetting! They ceased over the peak lounge occupation time.

Oh well, had to settle for 3 of that JW Red stuff. And the only way to drink that is to fill the glass with ginger ale. I suppose I could have had a few Crownies or HP's. But my mind was set on the scotch.

By the way, the normal entrance was closed as they refurbish the eastern end of the lounge. Entry was via the previously-always-closed western entrance.
