I have the same seating plan for QF25 in May. I am assuming the forward galley is on the starboard side. In fact, that attracted me to seek the first few rows on the starboard side for our party of 7. Original automatic allocation was 25 d,e,f,g,h,j,k, which I had changed to include a few windows rather than all bulkhead.

But you are right in that this is an earlier adoption than I was expecting to see. Perhaps they are finishing off the IFE system upgrades at the same time as the 2-class reconfig, which would make sence.
