I haven't been charged any tax for award nights at the IC Le Grand in Paris, the IC in Athens, the IC Al Bustan in Muscat or a HI at LHR. I was charged taxes for an award stay at the Sheraton Muscat but this was corrected when I e-mailed Starwood Customer service. No taxes either at any of my Hilton award stays in France or Italy.
