BA97 - Don't be so hard on yourself!

Every year for at least the last 9-10 years (I can't remember further back) BA has switched from a daily 744 to a daily 777 LHR-CAI-LHR at the end of March, and then back to a 744 at the end of October.

I believe this capacity management to be a function of the Egypt tourist season - if you've ever been in Upper Egypt between June and August with temperatures in the shade in excess of 50C you'll know it's not an ideal time of year for sightseeing. On the other hand, Egypt in the winter is an appealing alternative to a chilly Nothern Europe.

The dropping of the Hurghada flight MAY just be a similar seasonal issue - judging by the glorious weather you guys apparently had in the UK this past weekend who needs to travel to Egypt to get some sun and warmth anyway when you can get it in Blackpool?
