In T1 you cannot get from the AS/UA gates to the WN gates without going back through security - the 2 airside sections are separate.
In T2, all of the airside areas are linked, so you can get from the AA gates to the DL/CO gates.
Appreciate the link. I had looked at that prior to posting but could not make out where the check-points were. It's good to have some real-life, on-the-ground confirmation that one can freely move between the two concourses in T2.
