Cheers ozzie that helps, do you know if it makes any difference if the whole itinerary is booked as one or if i should book the legs i would wantto u/g as a separate booking?

Just don't want to be forced into trying to /ug the domestic connection to a higher class unneccessarily - I presume it must work like LH where you can choose the sectors to u/g and keep the protection of having it all on one ticket?
