I'm trying to do some research on how UK credit card companies try to save cardholders who've called to cancel. I'm interested in both rewards and non-rewards cards.

Have you ever cancelled a UK credit card? What was your experience? Did they try to save you? How? With an offer or by trying to resell you on the benefits?
