I did KUL-HKG, NRT-HKG-KUL in biz on CX late last year, and the seats on all 3sectors were quite similar to MH's "regional" business class seats.
UA's "international" biz seats were not any better apart from the generous legroom (no flat bed). Having done the 5.5hr SFO-OGG in UA's domestic F with no footrest, limitted recline and legroom, I wouldnt complain about the 5hr KUL-PVG in MH's "regional" biz seat
