I checked my wife in for her flight this evening. When I did so I moved her from 6C to 5D. The boarding pass shows 5D. I just encountered the same issue-at checkin I moved from 7D to 5D and printed the BP.
Checking on it later showed the original seat assignment,not the new one.
BTW-as of now,I've been lucky with Plat upgrades,but the good luck seems to have run out tomorrow.
